As a member of the planning team, Timothy works on land use issues under the purview of the Department of Regional Planning. In addition he supports Supervisor Kuehl during her tenure as Chair of the Metro Board of Directors, and rounds out his assignments by overseeing the Department of Animal Care and Control, the office of the Agricultural Commissioner/Weights & Measures, the Fish and Wildlife Commission, and by serving as Supervisor Kuehl’s alternate on the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission.
Timothy previously served as the Supervisor’s District Director in the cities and communities of the west San Fernando Valley, Malibu, and the unincorporated communities of the Santa Monica Mountains. Prior to joining the Office of Supervisor Kuehl at the County in 2015, Timothy served as senior staff in the district offices of then-Assemblymembers Al Muratsuchi, Julia Brownley, and Fran Pavley. Before relocating to Los Angeles in 2001, he was a Legislative Aide in the State Capitol, where he began his longtime career in public service in 1993.
Over the years, Mr. Lippman has worked on various issues on behalf of constituents including electricity reliability, transportation, consumer protection, and the environment, to name just a few, as well as coordinating community outreach and overseeing constituent services.
