Associate Deputy, Housing and Homelessness
Tanya assists in advising Supervisor Kuehl on housing and homelessness policy. She brings to the team a varied background in project management, having previously worked with a small nonprofit affordable and supportive housing developer in Downtown Los Angeles, and most recently, with the Los Angeles County Development Authority’s Finance and Development Unit.
She is not only a lifelong resident of the Third District, but also a graduate of UCLA, and an alumna of the Coro Southern California Fellowship in Public Affairs. Her work is driven by her love for Los Angeles and her deep belief that stable housing is a human right central to breaking the cycle of generational poverty.
