Leah Wilensky

Communications Assistant

Leah Wilensky has extensive advocacy and field experience working with constituents, communicating with elected officials, engaging stakeholders and federal agencies both in the US and UK.

Prior to joining the County, she held several policy fellowships including a fellowship in the office of Congressman Ted Lieu; in the office of Stuart McMillan, a Member of Scottish Parliament; and in the office of the Director of Advocacy and Community Engagement at the National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles.

Leah is a graduate of Smith College and holds a degree in Government and International Relations.

In her spare time, she enjoys taking yoga classes and reading.
