
Fernando Morales
District Director, West/Metro LA
Fernando Morales serves as Kuehl’s District Director for the West/Metro Los Angeles office. He is responsible for overseeing community engagement, events, programming and constituent services for the communities that span from Venice to Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades to East Hollywood, and Atwater to Los Feliz.
Before joining Supervisor Kuehl’s office, Fernando served as Senior District Representative for State Senator Ben Allen (SD26) for the areas of Hancock Park, Hollywood, Hollywood Hills/Hollywood Hills West, Mid-Wilshire, Windsor Square, the South Bay and Venice/Marina communities. He was also the primary representative for technology/silicon beach, business, healthcare, immigration, LGBTQ, Latino, and political issues.
Fernando serves on the boards of LACER Afterschool Programs, connecting middle and high school students with free after school programming and college prep, and Los Angeles County Young Democrats, focusing on engaging young Angelinos in the political process. Fernando is a fluent Spanish speaker, first generation Venezuelan immigrant, and enjoys cooking and being in nature during his free time. He is a graduate of James Madison University, with degrees in Psychology and Sociology.
