Earth Day Beach Cleanup
Saturday, April 21st, Manhattan Beach Pier, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Celebrate Earth Day with the City of Manhattan Beach and Surfrider South Bay Chapter on April 21st. The cleanup will promptly begin at 9 AM and end at 12 PM. Stick around for food, giveaways and contests sponsored by REI and Hippytree!
Earth Focus Environmental Film Festival
Saturday, April 21st, Laemmle Monica Film Center, Santa Monica from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
KCET and Link TV Present an all-day festival of films featuring screenings of celebrity-introduced acclaimed films focused on green issues with filmmaker Q&As, as well as educational booths from local environmental organizations including Heal The Bay, River LA, Sierra Club, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Save Our Surf and LA Works.
The Great LA River Cleanup 2018
Saturday, April 21st , Los Feliz Blvd CleanUp site, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Join the Friends of the LA River for the Great LA River Cleanup 2018 as they work to restore habitat, protect nature, and build community through the power of collective action. The Los Feliz CleanUp Site is located on the East Bank of the LA River at Bond Park across the street from the Los Feliz Municipal Golf Course.
