“TOP OF LA” YEAR-ROUND CRISIS HOUSING

For more than 20 years the Sylmar Armory has served as a winter shelter. In February 2017 Supervisor Sheila Kuehl asked the County and the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority to explore the feasibility of improving the site and providing year-round crisis housing. Sylmar community residents can learn more about the proposal, access documents, and find out about upcoming community meetings about this proposal below.

COMMUNITY PRESENTATIONS

We invite Sylmar stakeholders to learn more about this proposal and provide constructive feedback by attending one of three community presentations on the proposal. These community presentations will take place at El Cariso Park. To ensure that these presentations are constructive we are requiring attendees to RSVP in advance to allow us to manage crowd size and ensure that everyone who attends has the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposal.
